The latest news on dynann roof\’s massacre of 9 innocent people whose crime was being Black churchgoers:
-We are now told that his tattoo-laden, nipple-ringed father is a physically and mentally abusive, domineering man who was no father to dylann roof or his half-sister Amber (please to not take this as an excuse for what he did).
According to Daniel Bates\’ article for London\’s Daily Mail, roof spent a lot of time playing video games (anyone want to take bets on what kind of games they were? I have written often about how often young people who go on murder sprees play violent video games which reduce human life to how many points you get for how many kills).
So far, I have not heard or read about how in the world a shiftless 21 year old with a criminal record could possibly have, legally, been sold the gun roof used to kill those people.
Basic decency demands that the gun shop explains this sale – not there is any acceptable explanation, because there isn\’t.
If South Carolina laws allow the sale of a gun to someone like this, those laws must be changed forthwith. If they don\’t, then the people who sold that gun to dylann roof should be charged and tried.
One other thing. To this day, the confederate flag flies over the statehouse in Columbia, South Carolina. That is an affront to every decent human being in the state, regardless of his/her color.
Take it down now.
Do not tell me that the flag is nothing more than a historic reference, because we all know what that “historic reference” means. Using the same “logic”, Germany could be putting nazi flags over its government buildings too.
Governor Haley? Your turn to do something that is long, long overdue. Will you?
