Months ago, I speculated that Hillary Clinton might not run for the presidency, in part, because a presidential run is enormously physically taxing and, healthwise, she might not be up to it.
If I thought that Ms. Clinton\’s idea of a “campaign” were to simply go to a series of fully scripted events, to speak to no one but supporters/admirers, and take no questions from the press, as if she were a Queen — and that media would forgo their professional responsibilities, not to mention their integrity, and allow themselves to be humiliated this way — I would never have written those words.
