According to the just-released CBSNews/New York Times poll, race relations are at their worst since 1992 (which, for you fans, is the last year before Bill Clinton became President), with a majority of both Black and White respondents characterizing race relations as “bad”.
But…wait. How can that be? Didn\’t we elect The Great Uniter in 2008? Hasn\’t he been President for almost 6 1/2 years? It just doesn\’t compute…
…unless you take into account that he has run the Presidency not like a man truly interested in equality, but as one who intended, and succeeded in, dividing us:
-This is the same Barack Obama who appointed the racist eric holder as Attorney General.
-The same Barack Obama who made his prejudice clear by telling us that if he had a son the son would look like Trayvon Martin.
-The same Barack Obama who started the “My Brother\’s Keeper” program – which tells young Black males they are incapable of cutting it on their own so Big Brother, in the form of Uncle Sap, will spend lots of money to make up the difference in their deficiencies – a program, it should be noted, that is exclusively for Black people; no troubled White young men need apply.
-The same Barack Obama who has treated the career Black supremacist, anti-Semite, race-baiting demagogue and serial deadbeat/tax cheat al sharpton as some kind of long-lost brother, and welcomed him into the White House over 80 times.
Is there any doubt about why the racial divide has done little but expand during these years?
Less than 21 months until this nightmare of an administration is over. I count the seconds.
