I just put on the TV for a moment or two, and was treated to a commercial which advertised that silver prices are currently below production cost, it is on sale, and the time to buy is Now! Now! Now!
And I wondered what the same company says to the people it was selling silver to a short time ago, when the price was much higher and they were also importuning them to buy it Now! Now! Now! Are they the ones who are supposed to be selling it to the new batch of customers?
Just curious.
The moral of this story is, unless we are talking about an unclothed beauty queen (or Chippendale hunk, depending on your prurient interest), when someone is screaming Now! Now! Now! it probably would be a good idea to stop and think before acting.
