Mainstream media’s obsessive, non-stop pushing of Donald Trump Jr’s meeting with a Russian national who claimed to have dirt on Hillary Clinton, while simultaneously burying the specific coordination and exchange of information between Ukrainian nationals and both the DNC and the Clinton campaign, is the single most blatant example of media bias I have seen in years.
And the absolute, unadulterated BS rationale – that “Russia is an adversary, the Ukraine is not” – is every bit as blatantly partisan.
Can someone show me where Russia is formally designated as an “adversary”? No you can’t, because it is not.
Can someone show me where the law distinguishes between foreign nationals who are and are not “adversaries”? No you cannot, because it doesn’t; a foreign national is a foreign national. Period.
There is no shortage, in recent years, of our media shaming itself by forgoing any vestige of the neutrality it is supposed to provide. But this is the mother of them all.
