Since it is being reported throughout the blogosphere that donald sterling, the NBA team owner who – assuming the tapes are not faked or doctored in some way – made those vile racist comments we\’ve all been hearing about for the past two days:
a) is a Democrat, and
b) what few political donations it has been found that he made (so far) were all to Democrat candidates,
how come there is virtually no mention of his party affiliation among mainstream media venues?
Would they have withheld donald sterling\’s party affiliation if he were a Republican?
Please stop laughing long enough to answer.

UPDATE: Despite the reports noted above, and his donations to Demcorat, according to the LA Times, sterling is a registered Republican.
If true, let\’s see how much it is publicized, compared to the non-existent reporting of his affiliation when it was thought to be Democrat.
