Today’s quote comes to us from “John”, who claims to live in New Jersey.
I don’t know who John is, whether that is his real name, whether he really lives in New Jersey, and even, for sure, if “John is a “he”.
But one thing I am sure of. I like John’s comment about Elisabeth Rosenthal’s article in yesterday’s article in the New York Times, titled “Sorry, We Don’t Take Obamacare”, in which he outlines this definition of the “Affordable Care Act”:
Here it is:
Folks – here’s the plan…
We collect less money from people for premiums – so that they will support it
We pay the doctors less – hoping they will continue to pay their costs with less fees coming in.
We suddenly change the “studies” to say, “well, you really don’t need this test, etc”.
And to top off the costs,we impose a tax on people who say “gee, this sounds like a bad idea, I don’t want it”.
Then we scratch our heads and act surprised when it doesn’t work.
Not “we”, John. You, obviously are not scratching your head and acting surprised.
Be assured that I’m not either. And also be assured that we are far from alone.
John wins Quote Of The Day honors for his concise, on-target explanation of the major problems with ObamaCare.
How I wish he had them wrong.
