WILL THE DOW HIT AN ALL-TIME HIGH TODAY?

The all-time highest close for the Dow Jones Industrial Average was 45,014.04 on December 4 of last year.  The highest it has ever been during the day (though it closed lower) is 45,073.63 points.

Right now, based to a considerable degree on President Trump’s latest trade deal with Japan, Dow futures (i.e. where it is right now, before today’s 9:30 AM open) are up over 200 points, dancing in a range around 44,750.

There is no guarantee it will stay that high.  No one knows what will happen on any given day.  But if it does, there isn’t much of a climb to get to the all-time high, either today, or in the next few days….

….and, if it does, it will join the NASDAQ and S&P 500, both of which have hit all-time highs multiple times this year.

Say, aren’t we supposed to be in the midst of a stock market crash, and inflation disaster, because of the Trump tariff policies?

What happened?  Did our once-vaunted, now-laughable (though through gritted teeth) mainstream media mislead us again?

I’ll be writing more on our media’s bias in the next few blogs.  But for the Dow, let’s see where it goes and we’ll talk afterwards.
