No sooner did I support President Obama for his bombing of ISIS positions in Iraq – presumably in an effort to save however many of the Yazidi sect it has not already butchered – then he comes out and tells us, thus ISIS that he will not put any troops on the ground.
Why in hell did he do this? Why in hell would he announce the United States military strategy to the people we are attacking?
Is he stupid? Has he gone out of his mind? Or is it that the public assurance to his left wing base is more important to him than the objectives being pursued — which qualifies as both?
This is just plain beyond belief.
