WHO, AND WHAT, IS “STORMY DANIELS”?

The previous blog discussed Michael Cohen’s and President Trump’s “stormy daniels” problem.

Let me start by saying that, though I can’t know for 100% sure, I assume Mr. Trump had that one night romp with her and that there was a payoff – whether $130,000 or some other amount – to shut her up about it during the campaign.

So why would she have to be paid off?  What was the reason a then-ten year old one-nighter would suddenly require big bucks to change hands?

Since no one else (that I’ve seen anyway) is framing the payoff this way, I would like to note that, from the looks of it, “stormy daniels” (stephanie clifford, actually), was blackmailing Trump.

My guess is that “daniels”, a porn performer who, at 36 (now 38), had aged out of the good-paying roles and was reduced to stripping at “gentlemen’s clubs”, approached the Trump  people during the last month of the campaign threatening to go public with their one night stand, unless she got a lot of money.  And $130,000 was enough to shut her up….until she smelled another big payday, which is why we know about her today.

Does anyone think Michael Cohen waved $130,000 hush money at this body-selling opportunist out of the goodness of his or Donald Trump’s heart?  Please.

Now, our culture being what it is, she doesn’t need Donald Trump anymore.  In fact, her “value” – if the word can be perverted to apply here – is greatly enhanced if Trump goes down (intentional choice of words) because they once had consensual sex.  That, of course, goes for her publicity-loving lawyer as well.

Look for a miniseries, a book deal, and who knows what else.

Bottom line: I have no doubt Donald Trump is a philanderer. I have no doubt stormy daniels/stephanie clifford is a shameless, conscienceless opportunist.

And I have no doubt that is a bad combination.
