While we\’re on the subject of what is and isn\’t news…..
It is now three weeks since Michael Brown was shot and killed by Police Officer Darren Wilson.
-Why can we not see Michael Brown\’s juvenile record? Why is Missouri being sued to make it public since, once he is dead, there no longer is a privacy issue preventing its being made available? Why wouldn\’t the Brown family, which has presented him as a “gentle giant”, be demanding its release to prove he was just a nice kid who never got in trouble?
-And why can we not see the records of Office Wilson\’s alleged visit to the hospital, with a “swollen face” and a \’fractured eye socket”, as various reports have suggested he had? If this is true, why would this information be withheld? Or, put another way, if it is true, wouldn\’t Wilson\’s supporters be eager to provide it as proof that Michael Brown attacked him?
Do you get a feeling that plenty is being withheld here – by both sides? Because that certainly is the feeling I get.
