WHAT ISRAEL IS UP AGAINST IN GAZA

This blog is for anyone who thinks Israel has a choice regarding what Gaza is, who runs it and what its “leadership” intends to do.

From Lucy Gilbert’s article for dailysignal.com:

The architect of the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel sent a threat to the Jewish state this week, claiming the massacre “was just a rehearsal.”

Yahya Sinwar made the threat in his first public statement since the terrorist attack, Israeli media network Arutz Sheva reported.

“The leaders of the occupation should know,” Sinwar said, referring to Israeli leaders.

The attack was the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Hamas murdered 1,200 people and took 240 as hostages, including children, women, and the elderly.

Sinwar’s threat came during a temporary cease-fire between Israel and Hamas to allow for the release of dozens of women and children being held hostage in Gaza by Hamas in return for Palestinian criminals held in Israeli prisons.

And who is yahya sinwar?

From Peter Beaumont’s February 13, 2017 article for London’s Daily Telegraph:

Hamas has elected a hardliner from its armed wing as its next leader in the Gaza Strip, escalating fears that Israel and the group may be heading towards yet another round of deadly confrontation.

Yahya Sinwar, a 55-year-old who rejects any reconciliation with Israel, was released after 22 years in an Israeli jail in 2011 as part of a prisoner swap for the captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. He will now take over from prime minister Ismail Haniyeh, who is a candidate for the leadership of the Islamist group’s entire organisation.Haniyeh has served as the prime minister of the Hamas government in Gaza since its takeover in 2007.

And in case you’re wondering why sinwar was in an Israeli jail, it was for orchestrating the murder of two Israeli soldiers, and four of his fellow Palestinian Arabs who he decided were collaborating with them.

Israel swapped this career hater/mass murderer along with 1,026 other prisoners (NOT a typo), most convicted of violent crimes against Israelis in exchange for one Israeli soldier, Gilad Shalit…which should give you an idea of how Israel values the lives of its citizens.

Want to see a picture of yahya sinwar?  Here’s one from the Daily Signal article:

Yahya Sinwar holding a young boy and an AK-47 military rifle on a stage.

Based on this picture, what do you figure that child is being taught?  What do you figure all children are being taught in Gaza?

This is what Israel is up against in Gaza.  This is what Israel is being told to leave in place for “humanitarian” reasons.

Think about it.
