WHAT IF A CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN SAID THIS? (CONT.)

Here is the latest installment of overtly sterotyped/insulting commentary from the left, not the right, that will be treated far differently because it is from the left, not the right.

Here is New York State Governor Kathy Hochul, speaking this Sunday at the predominantly Black True Bethel Baptist Church in Buffalo, and citing the fact that rebate checks would be issued to some of the congregants:

“Checks are coming out soon, watch the mail. Okay? Okay? Don’t spend it all in one day. Get something you really need. Okay? Don’t stop by the liquor store. Buy something for the kids. Buy them some food.”

Yes, she really said that to a Black congregation.  A flat out negative stereotype right in their faces.  She might as well have added that the congregants also shouldn’t shoplift on the way home or have out-of-wedlock children this year.

Not surprisingly, the church attendees’ reactions made it clear that they did not like what she said.  So – incredibly – she tried to make things better by adding this:

“Sometimes I have to stop by the liquor store too, I understand it’s alright. It’s alright.”

In other words, it’s ok for me to have said that because, sometimes, I am just as much of a lowlife as you people are.

Can you imagine what the reaction would have been if this were a Republican/conservative state governor saying the exact same words.  What the media would be telling you about this genius?  What Black “leaders” would be saying about it?

While you’re imagining, please be aware that I checked the first three pages on google, and could not find any mention of it on ABC, NBC, CBS, or the New York Times.  Maybe they said something somewhere, but if they did at all it wasn’t enough to make it onto google.

Asking again:  o you think that would have been true if she were a conservative Republican instead of a Democrat liberal?

And they wonder why fewer and fewer people trust them anymore to provide honest news coverage?  Yikes.
