This is an easy blog to write, because it is based on data from the latest Fox News Poll (which is jointly conducted by Republican and Democrat polling outfits: would that other polling venues did this).
Here are the favorability ratings for now and two months ago, for Hillary Clinton…
March 20 – 22 – Favorable: 39%, Unfavorable: 58%
May 14 – 17 – Favorable: 37%. Unfavorable: 61%
And Donald Trump.
March 20 – 22 – Favorable: 31%, Unfavorable: 65%
May 14 – 17 – Favorable: 41%. Unfavorable: 56%
What does that tell you?
Here’s what it tells me. It tells me that both candidates have massive unfavorables…but Trump’s, at least since March, have appreciably improved, while Clinton’s have drifted downward and are now a good deal below those of Trump.
Is this cast in stone? Of course not.
Can it change -quickly and significantly? Of course it can.
WILL it change – and, if so, in whose favor? Who knows.
What I do know is that these numbers can’t be very happy news for Ms. Clinton.
Oh, one other question: How much is Hillary Clinton being hurt by Bernie Sanders’ continued campaign against her?
It’s hard not to see the answer as somewhere in the “hugely” range.
Or, put another way, Hillary is feeling the Bern, and Bernie is pumping the Trump.
What a strange, bizarre campaign season this is.

I wonder if this turnaround in numbers has anything to do with people paying more attention to whats happening in the campaigns???
If that is the reason I would expect Trump to continue getting better numbers and Clinton continuing to drop.
I know that I have been paying more attention and have realized Trump wasn’t being represented by media fairly.
