TWO OLD FACEBOOK POSTS THAT PROVE SOME THINGS DO NOT CHANGE

From November 18, 2014:

As you may be aware, there was a terrorist attack in Jerusalem today.

Two “men”, armed with a meat cleaver and a gun, broke into a Synagogue and killed at least four people who were doing nothing other than praying to God. At least 6 others were injured, several severely enough so that they may wind up adding to the death count.

This has immediately become a cause for celebration in Judea and Samaria (aka the west bank), Gaza, and in several Arab areas within Israel (incredibly, many people remain unaware that about 20% of Israel’s population is Arab…and that they enjoy rights and privileges they could never get in any Arab country on earth).

It follows a series of stabbings, and of cars being driven into innocent people waiting at train stations – which hamas has called “heroic” in nature.

These are the people the world demands that Israel make peace with.

How?

And from November 18, 2012 (during an Israeli reaction to a hamas terrorist attack):

A quick question: How many of the people piously advocating for Israel to exercise “restraint” and stop bombing the Gazan military/governmental infrastructure, also piously assured us that, when Israel pulled completely out of Gaza in 2005, it would bring peace between Gazans and Israel?

The sad, currently insoluble, situation is that Palestinian Arabs in Gaza (controlled by the terrorist group hamas), and Judea/Samaria (controlled by fatah, which signed a “unity agreement” with hamas) are committed, in writing, to annihilating Israel and killing every Jew there – and elsewhere as well. Until that changes, peace is an impossibility.

Maybe someday things will be different. But that day has yet to come. I therefore wish Israel every success in its military operation.

There they are.  Two facebook posts.  From 9, and 11, years ago.

And, it is all too clear, as of October 7th, 2023, absolutely nothing has changed.

I will end by repeating the question I asked in 2014.

These are the people the world demands that Israel make peace with.

How?
