This is sad news, regardless of your political views.
Last Week Rep. Sylvester Turner (D-TX) died of bone cancer.
Yesterday, Rep. Raúl Grijalva (D-AZ) also died of cancer.
Politically, this is good news for Republicans, because it increases the party’s slim majority in the House of Representatives.
But, in the name of decency, I hope their first thought is not political; I hope it is sympathy for these two men’s families (they were both married and had a total of four children).
May they rest in peace.
