TRYING TO SQUARE A CIRCLE IN WAR

The Biden administration, while voicing unequivocal support for Israel while simultaneously trying to stop it from doing what has to be done in Gaza…

…has now, with its belated, half-hearted strikes on Iranian assets in Syria after over a dozen attacks on our troops, decided to try and do the same thing there as well.

From Lolita C. Baldor’s article for the Associated Press, via Fox26/Houston:

U.S. fighter jets launched airstrikes early Friday on two locations in eastern Syria linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Pentagon said, in retaliation for a slew of drone and missile attacks against U.S. bases and personnel in the region that began early last week.

The U.S. strikes reflect the Biden administration’s determination to maintain a delicate balance. The U.S. wants to hit Iranian-backed groups suspected of targeting the U.S. as strongly as possible to deter future aggression, possibly fueled by Israel’s war against Hamas, while also working to avoid inflaming the region and provoking a wider conflict.

Iran, through its one of its proxies – Syria – is attacking United States military bases.

And our response – not after the first attack, when we should have acted, but after over a dozen of them – is a tentative strike on a couple of sites….reflecting “the Biden administration’s determination to maintain a delicate balance”?

THEY ARE ATTACKING OUR TROOPS.  NOT ISRAEL’S, OURS.

What the eff is Biden – actually, the puppeteers  running this administration as Biden sinks deeper and deeper into senility – waiting for?  A really “successful” attack that kills numbers of our troops?

That is what Iran, via Syria, is trying to do, and will continue trying to do until and unless we stop them, isn’t it?’

You cannot square a circle.  You cannot attempt some kind of “delicate balance” with people who are trying to kill you.

If these Iranian-backed attackers succeed, the blood of every American they kill or injure is on Biden’s hands.
