I have been writing about Minnesota Governor and Vice Presidential Candidate Tim Walz’s long-time love affair with China for months…
…which is more coverage of this mega-important fact than almost any of our mainstream media have provided.
Well, here is additional information about Walz and China. Absolutely damning information. Is it being ignored by mainstream media as well?
From Alana Goodman’s article at Washington Free Beacon:
As a high school teacher in the 1990s, Democratic vice presidential candidate and Minnesota governor Tim Walz appeared to extol life under Chinese communism, telling his students that it is a system in which “everyone shares” and gets free food and housing.
“It means that everyone is the same and everyone shares,” Walz said during a lesson on China’s communist system in November 1991. “The doctor and the construction worker make the same. The Chinese government and the place they work for provide housing and 14 kg or about 30 pounds of rice per month. They get food and housing.”
Walz’s remarks were reported in a 1991 article in Nebraska’s Alliance Times-Herald that focused on his work on student exchange programs in China. At the time, Walz was teaching social studies at a Nebraska high school.
The article goes on to show an enlarged segment of the article with Walz’s quotes clearly visible.
Tell me: do you think the millions and millions of people watching last night’s debate would have liked an explanation of why Tim Walz had such an affinity for communist China and the way it operates? Whether he still does? And, if he says he no longer feels this way, what evidence is there that he changed his mind?
Do we really want someone who feels this way to be one heartbeat away from the presidency of the United States?
“But wait”, someone might say. “How would Norah O’Donnell, Margaret Brennan and the CBS News Team have known about this? You can’t blame them for not asking about something that they were unaware of.”
Sounds great, right?
Except…
…the article I just posted from was published on AUGUST 19TH. That is SIX WEEKS AGO.
Do you want to try and convince me that a supposed news organization, running a vice presidential debate, thus researching each candidate, somehow missed this little tidbit? Or all of the other material showing Tim Walz’s years’ long kissy/huggy relationship with communist China. Lots of luck with that.
Let me end by asking you a simple question that has a simple answer. Why do you suppose our wonderful “neutral” media are avoiding this genuinely monumental issue like the bubonic plague?
Maybe because it would damage Kamala Harris and help Donald Trump? So they are hiding the fact that Walz is not only a self-described socialist (“don’t ever, don’t ever shy away from our progressive values. One person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness.”) but a once – and maybe currently – a communist sympathizer?
I’ll wait for your answer. I doubt it will take long.
