As we watch our TVs, horrified by the carnage of radical islamic murdering bastards…
…for the sake of common sense and common decency, let\’s remember that this not the work, or desire, of all muslims. Let\’s remember that there are many, many muslims who will never be involved in terrorism and will never, never celebrate attacks such as the ones in Paris, and in Egypt two weeks before, and at the World Trade Center 14 years before.
Is this a bad time to remind ourselves of this – as the dead are still being counted, with a great likelihood that there will be more to come?
No. In fact, it is the most important time; the most necessary time. Because it is when emotions – thus the potential for irrational behavior – are at their highest.
Let\’s keep in mind that Ahmed, Mohammad, Ali, etc. are names. Not guilty verdicts.
