The VA Hospital scandal has broken wide open. Veterans, who defended and honored our country by serving in the military are being denied treatment, even dying, because of the incompetence corruption and butt-covering which apparently has been in place for years, but only now is only being reported by major media.

Clerksscheduling medical appointments for veterans were “cooking thebooks” at their bosses\’ behest to hide the fact some had to waitweeks, if not months, for appointments, a VA scheduler in San Antoniosaid Thursday.
TheOffice of Inspector General confirms to CNN that it has staffinvestigators on the ground in San Antonio looking into theallegations.
Theallegations surrounding this Texas VA hospital comes as the federaldepartment fends off claims of potentially deadly delays at otherfacilities, including claims of a secret wait list in Phoenix thatwas first reported by CNN.
TheVA\’s official policy is that all patients should be able to see adoctor, dentist or some other medical professional within 14 days oftheir requested/preferred date. Any wait longer than two weeks issupposed to documented.
YetBrian Turner, a Veterans Affairs scheduling clerk based in SanAntonio, said Thursday that some who called to make appointments athis facility did end up waiting longer, yet such delays were neverreported.
