Want to see what our currently-constructed State Department had to say about hamas making war on Israel and striking with thousands of bombs, including indiscriminate bombing of civilian targets?
Here it is – and here is what happened after what I assume was huge backlash against it.
From an article at the Jerusalem Post:
The United States’ Office for Palestinian Affairs has deleted a post from their X account that called for Israelis to “refrain from violence and retaliatory attacks” in response to Hamas attacking Israel.
The post on X had said “We unequivocally condemn the attack of Hamas terrorists and the loss of life that has incurred. We urge all sides to refrain from violence and retaliatory attacks. Terror and violence solve nothing.”
Got that? Our State Department – until it was apparently shamed into changing its tune – told Israel to “refrain from violence and retaliatory attacks” (that HAS to be an admonition specifically to Israel, since hamas already committed the violence and Israel, against whom the violence was committed, is therefore the only entity that could retaliate.)
In other words, our State Department’s advice to Israel was to bury your dead and don’t do anything about it.
Just like we did after Pearl Harbor, right?
If ever this country needed a change of leadership and a change of direction, this is the time.
