It is all over the news:  The United States has been spying on Israel.  And it makes me furious.

Not because the US is spying per se.  I have said this before, and I\’ll say it again:  every major country spies on every other major country as much as possible – both friends and foes – for its own purposes.

What infuriates me is the hypocrisy we have seen from the Obama administration, and its media acolytes when it was found that Israel was spying on the United States.

Incidentally, does this mean that the recently-released Jonathan Pollard, who spent 30 YEARS in prison for spying on behalf of a friendly country, Israel, deserves some kind of apology?  Spies for our enemies never got that kind of a sentence, but Pollard did.

That\’s worth thinking about.
