THE TRUMP ECONOMIC RECOVERY BEGINS

Joe Biden is currently President of the United States.  Not Donald Trump.

So what does it tell you when the guy committing an investment of $100 billion (NOT a typo) over the next four years/the creation of something like 100,000 jobs, does so at Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago home, not Joe Biden’s current/soon to be former White House?

From Kathryn Watson’s article at CBS News:

Japanese tech conglomerate SoftBank plans to invest $100 billion in the U.S. and create 100,000 jobs in artificial intelligence and technology, President-elect Donald Trump announced Monday at Mar-a-Lago alongside SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son.

“Today, I am thrilled to announce that SoftBank will be investing $100 billion America, creating 100,000 American jobs at a minimum,” Trump said, adding that Son was announcing the investment “because he feels very optimistic about our country since the election.”

The investment “will help insure that artificial intelligence, emerging technologies and other industries of tomorrow are built, created right here in the U.S.A.,” Trump said.

“I”m very, very excited,” Son said. “I would really like to celebrate the great victory of President Trump. And my confidence level to the economy of the United States has tremendously increased with his victory.”

During their announcement, Trump asked Son to double the investment.

“I’m going to ask him right now, will you make it $200 billion, believe it or not, he can actually afford to do that,” Trump said. Son responded, “With your leadership and my parternship and your support, I will try to make it happen.”

Would this have happened if Donald Trump had not won the presidential election?  I think Mr. Son’s “I would really like to celebrate the great victory of President Trump. And my confidence level to the economy of the United States has tremendously increased with his victory” answers that question with 100% clarity.

Now, what, if anything, will Joe Biden (or, more exactly, his puppet-masters) have to say about this huge boon to the US economy?

Will he congratulate once-and-future President Trump?  I doubt it.

Will he try to take credit for it?  I wouldn’t be surprised if the answer was “yes”.   And I wouldn’t be surprised if there are SIPS* out there who would believe it.

But, if you are not one of those lost souls, I will assume you know better.

Donald Trump is making a difference – a major difference – already.  And he hasn’t even taken office yet…although it seems more and more clear that the rest of the world, understandably given Biden’s cognitive level, is treating him as the current President, not the future one.

* A SIP is someone who is either so Stupid and/or so Ignorant, and/or so Partisan that he/she will believe anything the side they support says.  Even if it is demonstrably ridiculous…which giving credit to Biden for this investment would be.
