In the previous blog we saw how a non-story – accusation and denial without hard evidence – can be transformed by mainstream media into a cataclysmic horror show.
Now let’s look at a far more referenced story – apparently with hard evidence – which has come out the same day, is being summarily buried by the same mainstream media trying to take President Trump down.
From Malia Zimmerman’s article at foxnews.com:
The Democratic National Committee staffer who was gunned down on July 10 on a Washington, D.C., street just steps from his home had leaked thousands of internal emails to WikiLeaks, investigative sources told Fox News.
A federal investigator who reviewed an FBI forensic report — generated within 96 hours after DNC staffer Seth Rich’s murder — detailing the contents Rich’s computer said he made contact with WikiLeaks through Gavin MacFadyen, a now-deceased American investigative reporter, documentary filmmaker, and director of WikiLeaks who was living in London at the time.
“I have seen and read the emails between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks,” the federal investigator told Fox News, confirming the MacFadyen connection. He said the emails are in possession of the FBI, while the stalled case is in the hands of the Washington Police Department.
The revelation is consistent with the findings of Rod Wheeler, a former DC homicide detective and Fox News contributor and whose private investigation firm was hired by Rich’s family to probe the case. Rich was shot from behind in the wee hours, but was not robbed.
“My investigation up to this point shows there was some degree of email exchange between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks,” Wheeler said. “I do believe that the answers to who murdered Seth Rich sits on his computer on a shelf at the DC police or FBI headquarters.”
The federal investigator, who requested anonymity, said 44,053 emails and 17,761 attachments between Democratic National Committee leaders, spanning from January 2015 through late May 2016, were transferred from Rich to MacFadyen before May 21.
On July 22, just 12 days after Rich was killed, WikiLeaks published internal DNC emails that appeared to show top party officials conspired to stop Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont from becoming the party’s presidential nominee. That controversy resulted in Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigning as DNC chairperson. A number of Sanders supporters refused to back party nominee Hillary Clinton, and some subsequently formed groups to work against Clinton and the party.
Is this a proven story?
No. Just like the Washington Post story it has, at its heart, an anonymous source.
Is there more specificity to the story – i.e. is there information that can be reality-checked?
Yes. One helluva lot more than the Washington Post story.
Is it important? Well, Another person who was going up against Hillary (or Bill) Clinton was murdered – this is a decades long chronic problem that media do not want you to even think about. Read this rundown, from WND.com (NOT any mainstream media source, of course) and see if you would find the sheer number of people and their average ages at death at least a little suspicious.
Do I know Seth Rich was murdered because he ran afoul of Queen Hillary and Hubby Bubba? No I do not. Nor do I know for a fact that any of the other deaths enumerated in the WND article were hit jobs on the Clintons’ behalf.
But what I do know is that on the same day that an unreferenced, unevidenced story from the Washington Post – as Trump-hating a venue as there is – was being broadcast all over creation, this far more credibly sourced story hasn’t left the starting gate.
Call me a hopeless pessimist, but I can’t help thinking our wonderful “neutral” media have disgraced themselves. Again.

Ken, Ken. Your aim is off. Check the sights on your rifle.
The NY Times is owned by Carlos Slim, the Mexican billionaire (he made it in Cell Phones).
The Washington Post is personally owned by Jeff Bezos the Amazon billionaire. He also owns Blue Origin (private space rockets), and major investments in Twitter, Uber, AirBnB.
He, who Pays the Piper, calls the Tune.
These are not News Media . . . They are playthings of the Mega-Wealthy Elites.
Just to add, if this story is true [which has been out there for quite a while] it blows the Russia hacked the DNC theory out of the water.
