THE REFORM CALIFORNIA PETITION

The Reform California petition.

This is a major story.  One that, if our media were even close to being neutral/professional, would be heavily reported.

But I’m betting you don’t have the slightest idea of what I’m talking about.  So let me tell you about it.

Reform California describes itself as “a statewide grassroots political movement led by Carl DeMaio that is dedicated to taking back our state from the far-Left politicians and special interests”.

To that end, it initiated a petition to require Voter ID.  And if that’s all there was, there’d be little to report about.

But that’s not all there is.

In fact, the petition has accumulated 1.3 million signatures.  That is dramatically higher than the 875,000 needed to put it on the November ballot.

And, according to Demetrius Gardner’s article for americafirstreport.com, “nearly half of the 1.35 million signatures came from Democrats and independents, representing all 58 of California’s counties.”

I don’t know how reliable this information is.  But if it is anywhere near true, the voter ID requirement will pass and become law.  In California. California.

Is that news, or what?

So if this is the first you’ve heard of this petition and its success, what does it tell you about our wonderful “neutral” media?

Point made?  I think so.
