Today’s quote – and it is absolutely monumental – comes to us from U.S. District Judge T. S. Ellis. It was aimed at the mueller investigation Star Chamber – particularly its treatment of Paul Manafort. And it could not have been more apropos.
Judge Ellis, told the members of mueller’s team:
“You don’t really care about Mr. Manafort. You really care about what information Mr. Manafort can give you to lead you to Mr. Trump and an impeachment, or whatever.”
That is EXACTLY CORRECT.
That is what prompted mueller’s police-state quality middle-of-the-night raid on Mr. Manafort’s home, designed to terrorize his wife and children, for the purpose of getting materials they could as easily have knocked on the door during daylight and demanded.
The fact that they engaged in their fascist tactics instead, is a commentary on the sick joke that this “investigation” has become.
In the past weeks, President Trump’s ratings have been rising. In the Rasmussen poll, they are higher today than President Obama’s approval rating was the same day of his presidency.
I have no doubt the tax legislation and foreign policy successes have a lot to do with this. But I can’t help thinking that increasing public revulsion over mueller and his Democrats-for-hire team, as they try to unseat a legally elected President, is in the mix as well.
That is what Judge Ellis meant when he made his statement. And he wins Quote Of The Day honors for being spot-on correct.
