Today’s quote comes to us from Bill Clinton, the former president and, potentially, future First Mate of the United States. This is what Mr. Clinton had to say about young people who support Bernie Sanders:
“I think it’s fine that all these young students have been so enthusiastic for her opponent and say, ‘It’s all good, just shoot every third person on Wall Street and everything will be fine,'”
Incredible.
Isn’t Hillary Clinton the one who has been assuring us, in increasingly strident terms, that she will be putting the wood to Wall Street?
(And isn’t Hillary Clinton the one who steadfastly refuses to make public what she was paid a quarter of a million dollars to say to the same people she claims she will put the wood to?)
Can anyone in his or her right mind believe all those Wall Street fatcats paid Ms. Clinton all that $$$ to tell them what pieces of excrement they are?
Bill Clinton wins Quote Of The Day honors, for showing us either how much he has lost it (an unfortunate possibility that seems more and more likely), how much disdain he has for young voters whose only “crime” is supporting a different Democrat than Hillary Clinton, or both.
