Today\’s quote comes to us from yunis al-astal, a “lawmaker” from hamas-controlled Gaza, speaking on hamas-controlled TV this past March 6th.
As reported by israelnationalnews.com, (complete with an accompanying video), here is what al-astal had to say about Israel and about Jews – not just Israeli Jews, but Jews in general:
“Intoday\’s show, we will discuss the demand that the Palestinian peoplerecognize [Israel] as a Jewish state, so that the occupation willgraciously hand them out scraps. I would like to begin by quotingwhat Allah said about them: \’The worst of beasts in the sight ofAllah are those who disbelieve. They are the ones with whom you madea covenant, but they break their covenant every time\’.
“Theobvious question is: What is the solution to this gang of people? TheAl-Anfal chapter of the Koran provides us with the answer. After He said: \’They are the ones with whom you madea covenant, but they break their covenant every time,\’ Allah added:\’If you gain mastery over them in a war, use them to disperse thosewho follow them that they may remember.\’ This indicates that wemust massacre them, in order to break them down and prevent them fromsowing corruption in the world. They are the ones who still spark theflame of war, but Allah has taken it upon Himself to extinguish it.”
What a guy. Disbelievers – in this case, Jews – are the worst of beasts, so if you want to follow the word of Allah, you have to massacre them. That will extinguish the flames of war.
Hard to argue with that logic: there cannot be war if you massacre and extinguish your enemy.
yunis al-astal garners Quote Of The Day honors, for being the latest Palestinian Arab to make plain, in so many words, what the real aim of hamas (and fatah – make no mistake about it) is: no two-state solution, no peaceful co-existence, but the killing of all Jews. Honesty rates in this blog. And it doesn\’t get more honest than that.
Now: will the Israel and Jew haters (almost always one and the same) learn from this?
Nope. They haven\’t learned from all the other times this has been made plain and there is no reason to believe this will be the first. Just add it to their “ignore” pile.
