Today\’s quote comes to us from Jake Tapper, while responding, incredulously, to maen rashid erekat, who heads the Palestinian Arab delegation in Washington.
erekat, a guest on Tapper\’s CNN show, “The Lead”, complained that Israelis were shooting Palestinian Arabs who were in the process of knife attacks on Israeli Jews. So help me, he actually was – you can click here to see the video:
When erekat specifically referenced the two teenage brothers, who tried to knife an Israeli police officer – one of whom was killed, the other wounded and treated at a local hospital – Tapper couldn\’t take it anymore. He told erekat:
“If I have a knife and I run outside here and go at a cop with a knife, I\’m going to get \’executed\’; that\’s how it works”.
FYI: A reminder for you: just last month, the Palestinian Authority\’s abu abbas, had this to say about Palestinian Arabs killing Israeli Jews:
“We welcome every drop of blood spilled in Jerusalem. This is pure blood, clean blood, blood on its way to Allah. With the help of Allah, every shaheed (martyr) will be in heaven, and every wounded will get his reward”
See, in the world of erekat and abbas, Palestinian Arabs killing Jews is hunky-dory, but killing Palestinian Arabs while they are killing Jews to stop them from doing so is an outrage.
I award Jake Tapper Quote Of The Day honors for saying what he did to erekat…
..and for showing the restraint not to punch this sack of excrement in the mouth. I don\’t know how he stopped himself.
