Today’s quote comes to us from Boston’ hardest-of-hard-left Mayor, Michelle Wu.
Here is her statement (not opinion, it wasn’t framed that way) regarding what constitutes legal immigration.
“Every person, every human being has the legal right to come to the United States and seek asylum or shelter”

…here’s some news you apparently are unaware of. The United States – you know, the country you have lived in all your life – has immigration requirements; laws regarding who can or cannot enter, and the conditions under which they can or cannot do so. So, to the best of my knowledge, does every other country on earth.
But you not only inform us that they are all wrong, but present it a a legal opinion, as if unrestricted immigration is recognized law.
Uh….it isn’t.
My congratulations to the voters of Boston for electing someone who does not recognize her own country’ s borders; whose position is that anyone who wants to come into the country, regardless of his/her background or criminal record, is legally entitled to do so. No questions asked. Welcomed with open arms.
Give it a few years (it won’t take long) and see how the result of this unilateral dismantling of immigration laws works out in Boston.
But, if you don’t like it, don’t come complaining to me. You elected this genius to be your Mayor.
