Today’s quote comes from Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT).
It seems Rep. Himes is miffed that our military is taking out boats filled with illegal narcotics that kill our people by the hundreds of thousands. Especially because President Trump not only has okayed the operation but has called the narcotics traffickers “narco-terrorists”.
Here, during Katy Tur’s Wednesday show on MSNOW, is what Himes had to say about this:
“There’s no such thing as a narco-terrorist. There are very, very bad narcotics people, cartels, etc.
“They’re desperate to make this look like it’s ISIS or Al Qaeda, because that’s the very thin line on which their illegal use of the United States military to take these people out resides.”
Ahhhhh, we got it Jim. They are just very, very bad people who work with deadly cartels to send deadly narcotics into the United States so they can make a fortune by killing our people. That’s all. How DARE anyone call them narco-terrorists. Oh, the outrage of it!!!!
I award Jim Himes Quote Of The Day honors for making what I believe to be the single stupidest comment about drug traffickers I’ve seen this year. And, believe me, that took some doing.
