Today\’s quote comes to us from an unnamed source at the White House, and is reported by National Journal\’s Josh Kraushaar in his tweet below:
.
Jaw-dropping.
The Obama administration, which is using a fraudulent quote by Benjamin Netanyahu (more on this below) during Israel\’s election campaign as a basis for destroying a 67 year relationship between the two countries, has no problem at all with the supreme leader of Iran, ayatollah khamenei, calling for “Death to America” – which a) unlike Netanyahu\’s “quote”, he really did say and b) has said over and over again, incessantly, for many years.
Or, put another way, Barack Obama, in his most prominent “I am a petulant child and I can\’t stand that Benjamin Netanyahu\’s intellect, understanding of foreign affairs and honesty make me look pathetic by comparison” mode, has decided, for the purposes of bringing home a “deal” which will allow terrorist Iran to become a nuclear power, that Iran will be treated like the good guy and Israel like the enemy.
I award Quote Of The Day honors to whichever White House mouthpiece spoke those words, for making the infantile malevolence of Barack Obama so clear.
Oh, didn\’t I promise, earlier, to show that Netanyahu never said what Obama and his Accomplice Media are claiming he did? No problem at all – I\’ll just repost from a previous blog (I\’m adding bold print to make it 100% clear):
First the CNN reporter tells us “He says there will be no Palestinian State if he keeps his job, an explicit reversal of earlier pledges to support a two-state solution”. Palestinian State”. That\’s pretty definitive, isn\’t it?
But here, from the video on his own report – is what Netanyahu actually did say, in an interview:
Netanyahu: Anyone who is going to establish a Palestinian state, anyone who is going to evacuate territories today is simply giving a base for attacks to radical Islam against Israel. This is the true reality that was created here in the last few years. They who do not understand that stick their heads in the sand. The left are doing it, sticking their head in the stand, time and time again.
Interviewer: So if you are Prime Minister a Palestinian State will not be formed?
Netanyahu: Indeed.
Uh, wait a minute. Didn\’t that reporter tell us he “explicitly” reversed his 2009 position? Well, that presents a bit of a problem because, in point of fact, that did not happen. Netanyahu did unequivocally reject a Palestinian state under any circumstances. He said that he would not form one today because it would be giving a base for attacks to radical Islam against Israel. Today, as in under the current circumstances.
That does not in any way differ from what Benjamin Netanyahu said in 2009. No Palestinian state unless specific conditions are met.
Maybe, just maybe, CNN\’s reporter might be a bit better informed – like 100% more – if he watched the video from his own report again.
I rest my case.
