Today’s quote comes to us from Rep. jamie raskin (D-MD), a smirking, obnoxious political hack of the first order and reliable drone of the far-left.
Here is his reaction to New York City mayoral candidate zohran mamdani’s refusal to detach himself from the term “globalize the intifada” – which is generally taken to mean fight Jews – not just in Israel but everywhere else:
“Our position is we’ve got to globalize human rights and peace and security for every nation and every people, and everything I’ve heard from him was consistent with that. Globalize the intifada’ is not his slogan.”
Oh, I see. Globalizing a war against Jews equates to globalizing human rights and peace and security for everyone. And the fact that mamdani won’t distance himself from this slogan doesn’t count, because he isn’t the one who originally said it. Got it, jamie.
Even hardline, take-no-prisoners Democrats like Debbie Wasserman Schultz (among others) cannot abide the fact that mamdani has no problem with this terminology. But raskin? Hey, why say a bad word about an Israel-hating self-described socialist who won’t condemn this kind of terminology? Why get in the way of partisan politics?
I award jamie raskin Quote Of The Day (dis)honors for showing us – again, in case anyone didn’t know already – what a sickening sack of manure he is.
