Today’s quote comes to us from Rep. jasmine crockett (D-TX). It was posted yesterday on her X account:
“Sooo… I’ve said this before. This election was the best example of why (Diversity Equity & Inclusion) matter.
“For some, they just disqualified her simply due to her race & or sex… they never listened to what she had to say & were dismissive & disrespectful, while giving the benefit of the doubt to a mofo who literally said he had “concepts” of a plan & flat out lied about project 2025.
“He was & still is UNQUALIFIED & UNFIT to lead OUR Country.”
Translation (I’ll do the best I can here):
Diversity Equity and Inclusion – i.e. making sure the “acceptable” (to who?) number of minorities are given things regardless of qualifications – matter. And because racist, sexist voters ignored how much this matters , they rejected Kamala Harris.
See, it wasn’t that Harris came across as a vacuous flyweight who couldn’t put two coherent sentences together, or that she was handed the nomination without so much as one vote in any primary. It was exclusively because she was a woman and Black.
And – again – because voters were racist and sexist they gave the presidency over a “mofo” (that’s ghetto slang for motherfucker) – a “mofo” who has built skyscrapers recreational facilities and other structures around the world, employed many thousands of people, made billions of dollars doing it – and also served four years as President of the United States already.
It wasn’t that Donald Trump had massive qualifications that Kamala Harris couldn’t even dream of. Nope, it was all because racist, sexist voters declined to elect a DEI hire with minuscule qualifications instead of him. He was the unqualified/unfit candidate, not her.
I award jasmine crockett Quote Of The Day honors for proving again, as she seems determined to do, that she thinks the people she is talking to are a bunch of blithering idiots.
Sadly, for a good-sized percentage of them – including a great many who vote in her congressional district – she seems to be absolutely correct.
