THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today’s quote comes to us from Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.

Yesterday, Mr. Netanyahu met with President Trump at the White House.  And this was what he had to say about Mr. Trump afterwards:

“I’ve said this before, I’ll say it again: you are the greatest friend Israel has ever had in the White House.  And that’s why the people of Israel have such enormous respect for you.”

The greatest friend Israel has ever had in the White House?  That’s a pretty strong endorsement, but it is Benjamin Netanyahu’s personal opinion.  What basis does he have for projecting that positive image to the overall state of Israel?

Maybe this excerpt from an article in the Jerusalem Post last November 4 (the day before the election) will help:

Nearly two-thirds of Israelis believe former President Donald Trump is a better candidate for the upcoming US presidential election, according to a survey the Israeli Democracy Institute shared on Monday.

The IDI survey, which asked participants which candidate they prefer, showed that nearly two-thirds of the total sample say former President Donald Trump is better for Israel’s interest, compared to only 13% who say Vice President Kamala Harris is better, and 15.5% who maintain there is no difference between them.

The survey also showed that within the Jewish sample, 72% think Trump is better for Israelis in comparison to the 11% who believe Harris is the right pick.

I award Quote Of The Day honors to Benjamin Netanyahu for stating not just his personal opinion of Donald Trump’s value to Israel, but clearly reflecting the way his entire country – especially its Jewish majority – feels as well…

…and dishonors to all the pathetic liars who spent the election campaign trying to convince us, against all history (e.g. Trump moving the US embassy to Jerusalem) and all common sense, that Trump was some kind of hitler wannabe.  They were, and are, shameless liars.

How can you trust them?  And how can you trust the media venues which happily posted their venom?
