Today’s quote comes to us from Israeli government spokesperson David Mencer.
Here, in part, is his statement explaining why Israel – FINALLY!!! – is ending all ties with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).
“UNRWA equals Hamas. Israel has made public irrefutable evidence UNRWA is riddled with Hamas operatives.
“Israel makes clear… if a state funds UNRWA, that state is funding terrorists.
“UNRWA employs over 1,200 Hamas members, including terrorists who carried out the October 7 massacre. This isn’t aid, it’s direct financial support for terror.”
I don’t know for sure about that 1,200 hamas members number. But in terms of hamas’ ownership of the UNRWA, Mencer is 100% correct.
And let me point out that, in addition, the UNRWA is responsible for running the “schools” where Gazan children have been “educated” to the “fact” that Jews are the spawn of monkeys and pigs, and that it is a great honor to die a martyr while killing them.
David Mencer is awarded Quote Of the Day honors for stating, in very few words, just how detestable an organization the UNRWA is – and, if you ask me, how detestable the current incarnation of the formerly valuable, useful United Nations has become.
