Today’s quote comes to us from Glenn Greenwald, one of the small, but growing, number of journalists who, in the last few years, has moved away from their formerly hardline leftward positions – and, no doubt, infuriating a great many of their followers.
Here is his reaction to how his erstwhile pals on the left are reacting as Donald Trump puts together his administration:
“Is there a single person in DC or media acting as if Literal Adolf Hitler is about to assume power in 2 weeks in order to end American democracy, install fascism, and create a white supremacist dictatorship? Is it possible those who said this for years never believed it?”

Glenn Greenwald wins Quote Of The Day honors because, in only about 50 words, he has taken apart the lunatic ravings of hard leftists and Democrat partisans (all too often on and the same), making them look ridiculous for the bizarre, nonsensical BS they were trying to sell voters throughout last year’s presidential election.
Too bad it won’t prevent most of this bunch from doing more of the same going forward.
