Today’s quote comes to us from the brilliant writer/commentator Victor Davis Hanson.
Here is his take on who Joe Biden is going to pardon before leaving office, and why he would be doing so:
“Wait till we get to the last 48 hours, Jack. I expect Ashley Biden, I expect Jim Biden, all of them get pardons. They all get pardons.
“They know they’re going to get pardons, because if they don’t get pardons, when you write a check and you say repayment, $250,000, somebody in an honest DOJ, if the statute of limitations is not over, is going to say, ‘Wait a minute, you transferred $250,000 to your brother? Did you pay gift tax on it? Did you pay income tax? Where did you get the money?’”
I award Victor Davis Hanson Quote Of The Day honors for seeing what, I am virtually certain, just about every political writer and commentator sees as well (even if they were happy to look the other way on Biden’s/Democrats’ behalf): that this is a corrupt family which, through Joe Biden’s power/influence and hunter biden’s use as his bag man/stooge, enriched itself massively over the years. And the only way to protect Biden and his family from being held to account for what they have done is through pardons.
Whether Joe Biden’s puppet-masters (the people who are actually running our country) allow him to issue these pardons is not a certainty (I’m guessing Mr. Hanson is correct, and they will). But there is no doubt about the reasons he cites.
How sad, that, the current state of our media being what it is, Mr. Hanson is honored for doing nothing other than seeing what is in front of his, and pretty much everyone’s else’s eyes, and talking honestly about what he sees.
