Today’s quote comes to us from the unsavory, smirking, serial liar, Representative (and now elected Senator) Adam Schiff (D-CA).
Here is his comment about the possibility that Joe Biden will pre-emptively pardon him for whatever he is vulnerable to being charged with, when the Biden/Harris administration gives way to Trump/Vance:
“I would urge the president not to do that. I think it would seem defensive and unnecessary.”
Let me remind you again that Adam Schiff is a serial liar. Just one example is the countless times he told us he had “ample evidence” that Donald Trump was colluding with Russia – evidence that a) doesn’t exist and b) he was never seriously pressed to provide….which would have caused him to acknowledge his lie. Another is his years’ long promotion of the so-called “Steele Dossier” – a bought-and-paid-for hit piece posing as serious negative research on Trump.
Now, if (“when” might be the correct word) Joe Biden does pre-emptively pardon him, Schiff can look you in the eye, possibly give you that patented smirk, and tell you “Hey, I didn’t need that. I didn’t want it. I told you as much, didn’t I?” – maybe fooling a few SIPs into thinking he really means it.
If that actually happens, though, I would hope someone then asks Schiff to demand – for real, not for show – that Biden reverse the “defensive, unnecessary” pardon, then see if he does so….which he won’t.
