Today’s quote comes to us from Hillary Clinton. It concerns Donald Trump’s sure-to-be packed house rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.
Before showing you her quote, you need to see this excerpt from David Propper’s article in the October 9 New York Post:
A New York state Democratic lawmaker sparked outrage Wednesday when he compared Donald Trump’s upcoming campaign stop at Madison Square Garden to a Nazi rally that took place at the famous Big Apple venue 85 years ago.
State Sen. Brad Hoylman-Sigal, 58, called on MSG officials to cancel Trump’s Oct. 27 rally, claiming it could lead to “widespread violence” as he ripped into the former president and his supporters during the online diatribe.
“Let’s be clear. Allowing Trump to hold an event at MSG is equivalent to the infamous Nazis rally at Madison Square Garden on February 20, 1939,” Hoylman-Sigal, a Democrat, tweeted in reference to the disgraceful Nazi assembly held during the reign of German dictator Adolf Hitler.
That is disgusting. This man, who is not stupid (he’s a Rhodes Scholar) is a pig.
So what does that make Hillary Clinton, who, while being interviewed by CNN’s Kaitlin Collins yesterday, first called Trump “a fascist” (ugly enough by itself even if she said nothing else), and then continued with this:
“Sadly, here in America, the term fits. And, you know, one other thing that you’ll see next week, Kaitlin, is Trump actually re-enacting the Madison Square Garden rally in 1939.”
“I write about this in my book. President Franklin Roosevelt was appalled that neo-Nazis, fascists in America, were lining up to essentially pledge their support for the kind of government that they were seeing in Germany.”
Yes, hillary clinton (why am I respecting her by capitalizing her name?) is, literally, telling us that Trump is re-enacting a hitler-adoring nazi rally.
And, by doing so, what is she saying about Trump? That he is both a fascist and a nazi. mussolini and hitler rolled into one.
The only reason clinton can, and will, get away with this is that what passes for our mainstream media have made her the single most protected person in the United States. As long as she is doing her hate-Republicans rap, anything she says is just fine.
I award hillary clinton Quote Of The Day (dis)honors for showing her true colors again (remember her “deplorables” insult to tens of millions of people), by making the sick, disgusting, pig-worthy comments you just read…
…and Quote Of The Day dishonorable mentions to our media, for – as per usual – giving her a free pass on it (and, in a good many cases, probably agreeing with her as well).
