Today’s quote comes to us from former, and quite possibly future, President of the United States Donald Trump.
On Friday night, speaking before a conservative Christian group, Trump actually said this:
“Christians get out and vote. Just this time. You won’t have to do it anymore. Four more years. You know what? It’ll be fixed. It’ll be fine. You won’t have to vote anymore my beautiful Christians.”
“I love you Christians and I’m a Christian. I love you, you got to get out and vote. In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not going to have to vote.”
I’m trying to come up with a way that commentary could be more imbecilic, more grating, more disturbing. And I’m having trouble finding one.
I award Donald Trump Quote Of The Day “honors” for making it 100% certain I would not vote for him any more than I would vote for Kamala Harris.
If these are our two choices, this country is screwed royally.
