Today’s quote comes to us from Sam Markstein, National Political Director of the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) – a group that, I have to believe, must be growing very rapidly these days.
This is what Mr. Markstein had to say about Kamala Harris’ reaction to the overtly anti-Semitic “protesters” in Washington DC, who, among other things, burned the American Flag, burned a facsimile of Benjamin Netanyahu, desecrated monuments and chanted their support of terrorist, genocidal hamas:
“It took her a full day to issue a weak condemnation of the pro-Hamas mobs that burned American flags and chanted vile anti-semitic slogans at Jews in Washington, D.C. – with zero mention of any concrete action she would take to hold them accountable. It should be easy to condemn anti-semitism – the real question is what she will do to confront it, and her statement speaks for itself. Clearly, her priorities are not our priorities – and if elected, we can expect more of the same.”
It is no surprise that Markstein, a Republican, would be looking for ways to criticize the presumptive (though not yet definite) Democrat candidate for President. But the problem is that, regardless of party affiliation, everything he said rings true.
I don’t care if you are a Jew or a non-Jew; the actions of these hate-filled anti-Semitic pigs should make you ill.
But for Kamala Harris – who, though she is the President of the Senate, didn’t bother to show up and hear Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to congress – her response was a tepid “too little, too late, but I guess I have to” condemnation of their actions. This may have fooled some people, but not me…and, I hope, not you either.
I award Sam Markstein Quote Of The Day honors for pointing it out so clearly.
