THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today’s quote comes to us from joy ann reid, the professionally Black (i.e. it pretty clearly is her one overriding issue) show host at MSNBC.

Here, in reid’s words, is why Black people should vote for Kamala Harris:

“Given just the stratospheric entrance of Vice President Kamala Harris into the presidential campaign, and she has now secured enough delegates to become the nominee, you’re going to look real crazy being on the other side of that line, particularly as a person of color, but really as anyone who claims to have any connection to the culture. You’re going to look real weird and real lonely on that side.”

In other words, if you are Black and vote for President on any basis other than that one of the candidates also is “a person of color”, you are crazy, you’re going to look weird and you’re going to be lonely”.

Why stop there, joy?  Why not throw in that you will have have palpitations, headaches and psoriasis too?

Tell us, joy:  what would you say if one of the White show hosts on MSNBC noted that Trump secured the Republican nomination and said “you’re going to look real crazy being on the other side of that line, particularly as a White person, but really as anyone who claims to have any connection to the culture. You’re going to look real weird and real lonely on that side?”

What would you call that person?  Think of a six letter word starting with “r” and ending with “t”.

I award joy ann reid Quote Of The Day “honors” for making her overtly racist outlook so clear.  Again.  As she does every day on her show.

And I award dishonors to MSNBC for giving this overt racist a daily forum for doing so. (FYI:  that also goes for MSNBC’s “PoliticsNation” show, hosted by career racist al sharpton).
