Today’s quote comes to us from Rep. Pat Fallon (R-TX). Rep. Fallon is a member of the House Oversight Committee, and is one of the many members who mega-grilled Secret Service Chief kimberly a. cheatle (no more capital letters for her) regarding the massive screw-up – or worse – that almost caused Donald Trump his life last week.
After getting the same exasperating, dishonest runaround everyone else was getting from cheatle (who ,at one time, headed security for the Pepsico Company, which makes Doritos), here is how the furious and exasperated Fallon – who at one point was literally screaming in anger at her (watch/listen for yourself) ended his questioning:
“Corey Comperatore’s life is over because that damn shooter made it on the roof. And it wasn’t the roof that was dangerous, it was the nut job on top of the roof.
“Y’know what else is dangerous? I believe your horrifying ineptitude and your lack of skilled leadership is a disgrace.
“Your obfuscating today is shameful. And you should be fired immediately, and go back to guarding Doritos.”
Pat Fallon wins Quote Of The Day honors for telling this obnoxious incompetent joke of a secret service director what he (and so many others on both sides of the aisle) thought of her in such direct terms.
Yes, what he said was, under normal circumstances, unprofessional and nasty. But her disgusting, dishonest lack of any candor was what drove him – and the others (one congressperson told her she was “full of shit”) – to respond this way.
She earned it, she deserved it and she got it.
