THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today’s quote comes to us from former icon of the left…until they found that he was not willing to go to the lengths that they were, and just as willing to call them out when they passed the LL (Lunacy Line).

Here is his reaction to Joe Biden’s patently obvious attempt to buy votes by “forgiving” (i.e. using our taxpayer dollars to pay off) student loans – especially as college campuses erupt with anti-Israel/pro-hamas sickeness:

“I’m so incensed about some of this stuff, because, when I read about the college loans…[the] Biden administration’s student debt cancellation will cost a combined 870 billion to 1.4 trillion. That’s a lot of debt forgiveness. Okay, so colleges constantly raise tuition, then the kids take out more loans, then the government comes by and pays those loans. Okay, so, my tax dollars are supporting this Jew-hating? I don’t think so.”

Is that fair?  In my opinion, most of it is.  The only thing I take issue with is that student loan forgiveness – as repulsive as it is, doesn’t truly support Jew-hating.  In reality, compared to total college/university attendance, only a small persentage of stupid, ignorant POPPOs are engaging in that beyond-despicable behavior.

But the overall point – that this is an idiotic, (in my opinion, 100% politically inspired), attempt to pay off tuition…

…thus enabling colleges/universities to continue raising tuition…

….. which, based on the campus uprisings supporting hamas terrorists as well as years and years of one-side-only “education” designed to radicalize students at least as much as educate them…

…which U.S. taypayers are now being told to fund via selective “loan forgiveness” (Why isn’t biden paying off a truck driver’s auto loan?  A struggling family’s mortgage?   Why is he only paying to “forgive” students who voluntarily took these loans out?)…

…richly earns Bill Maher today’s Quote Of The Day honors.
