Today’s quote comes to us from Joe Biden’s Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
This is what she had say about the latest surge of illegals to, and through, our southern border:
“What we’re seeing here at the border, the increased migration flow, certainly, it ebbs and flows,” press secretary Katherine Jean-Pierre said. “And we’re at a time of the year where we’re seeing more at the border. And it’s not unusual. This is an immigration system that has been broken for decades. And the president has taken this very seriously to try to do more. That’s why we have the comprehensive immigration policy legislation that the president put forth on day one.”
Yep, Karine. Very credible.
The number of illegals crossing our border – and being allowed to stay – are hugely beyond anything seen in this country’s history.
-We don’t know who they are. We don’t know where they came from. We don’t know why they came here. Whether they are here to work, to live off social programs, to sell drugs, to extend the reach and influence of gangs that are dangerous in other countries, to form terror cells or anything else about them.
-We don’t know their medical conditions/what diseases they are bringing into the country.
-We don’t know what has happened to the hundreds of thousands of illegal children who have crossed the border. Are they situated with families? Sent into slave labor? Sex trafficked? We have no idea.
What we do know is that we have made the cartels that are de factor rulers of Mexico and other countries south of our border fabulously wealthy.
But this has nothing to do with Joe Biden undoing every Trump border policy that slowed down the illegal surge while he was in office, including the building of security fences.
