Today’s quote comes from the lightweight, politically compromised host of NBC’s Meet The Press, Chuck Todd.
This morning, Todd actually said this about Joe Biden:
“He’s consistently underestimated, and he blames the media for his poor approval ratings”
Consistently underestimated? Consistently underestimated?????. Based on what? His performance on inflation? His protection of the southern border? His pullout from Afghanistan?
Barack Obama, who selected Biden as his Vice Presidential nominee for strictly political reasons, not out of any regard for the man, is famously alleged to have said “Don’t underestimate Joe Biden’s capability to fuck things up”. If you want to talk about underestimating Joe Biden, that’s where you should begin and end.
And then there is Biden’s belief, if Chuck Todd has it right (a definite “if” given that we’re talking about Chuck Todd) that media are responsible for his poor approval ratings.
Really? Are these the same media which suppressed/buried the devastating information on hunter biden’s laptop so that voters would have no idea of its contents before the 2020 election – and which may well have won him that election? Is it their serial ignoring of his neverending stream of idiotic comments that, if we were talking about anyone else, would result in serious discussions about his cognitive ability to be President (or, for that matter, to run an ice cream stand). Is it their dogged determination to avoid talking about the tens of millions of dollars in bribes that, it seems self-evident, were accumulated by family members via selling Biden’s power and influence in office?
I award Chuck Todd Quote Of The Day honors for giving us what has to be the most hilariously moronic quote of the year.
