THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today’s quote comes to us from law professor, author and political commentator, Jonathan Turley.

Here, from his interview on “America Reports” at Fox News, is his take on how much a great many mainstream media venues would like for the Biden scandals to just go away – but how much more difficult it is becoming for them to aid and abet that from happening:

“I think that there is almost a panic setting in the media. They all want to move on because the alternative is to recognize one of the most significant corruption scandals in modern history, but it’s something the media played a role in suppressing, so they want everyone to move on.

‘That’s just not going to happen. The evidence is mounting. You had these two whistleblowers testify in Congress and you’ll notice the Democrat members asked very little about their specific allegations.”

“When one of them, Rep. Dan Goldman from New York, tried, he ended up demolishing the Biden defense in less than five minutes.  He got the witness to confirm that Joe Biden did in fact speak to his son about business dealings.”

Professor Turley, not at all surprisingly, is dead-on correct in his analysis.

Media – I’m thinking about the major networks and supposedly criterion newspapers like the New York Times and Washington Post – have swept these scandals under the rug for years, thus enabling Joe Biden and his family to get away with everything the evidence points to their involvement in.

Now, as it becomes less and less possible for them to look the other way, they are going to face a public asking why, if evidence of these scandals was in existence for all this time, they intentionally suppressed it/kept their viewers and readers ignorant of the facts.

I award Jonathan Turley Quote Of The Day honors for saying this in so many words…and can only wonder how long the robotic leftward drones at those other media venues will try to continue looking the other way, no matter how ridiculous it makes them look.

Journalism?  I doubt they can even spell the word.
