Today’s quote comes to us from former House Member, Speaker of the House and best-selling author Newt Gingrich.
Mr. Gingrich was asked to comment on the FD-1023 form released by Senator Grassley (R-IA) last week, which accuses Joe Biden and his family of reaping many millions of dollars from foreign sources by funneling it through a series of LLC corporations (which appear to have had no function other than to funnel money from one place to another).
His response:
“Well, coming every week, we get more information every week. The information corroborates what we’ve already suspected. What this says to me is that it’s very possible that there was a direct payment to the then-Vice President of the United States. It’s certainly even more likely that there were payments that were funneled through Hunter to Joe Biden. And the evidence just keeps mounting up every single week. At some point, the dam is going to break and even The New York Times and The Washington Post are going to recognize that we have a huge problem on our hands. We may have a criminal family sitting in the White House that took money from foreigners in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Romania, Russia, and China. Now, that’s a pretty sobering comment that has huge national security implications and also just basic honesty implications.”
Apart from every word being true, that line about “even the New York Times and The Washington Post” particularly struck me. Mr. Gingrich is not only pointing out that the amount of evidence is both huge and growing, he also is pointing out that, even with such evidence right there to see, major mainstream media venues are still trying to hide it from their readers/viewers…but the sheer amount of such evidence will, at some point, force them to do so.
I award Newt Gingrich Quote Of The Day honors for the accuracy of his analysis…and for his optimism that The Times and The Post can ever be expected to report honestly on the Bidens’ criminal activity. Personally, I’m still skeptical.
