Today’s quote comes to us from Biden Press Secretary/serial liar Karine Jean-Pierre.
During yesterday’s press briefing Ms. Jean-Pierre was asked whether the cocaine found in the White House belonged to any family member (presumably with hunter biden in mind).
Her answer:
“The Biden family was not here. They were not here. They were at Camp David. They were not here Friday. They were not here Saturday. They were not here Sunday. They were not even here Monday. They came back on Tuesday. So to ask that question is incredibly irresponsible.”
Although it is true that the cocaine could found its way into the White House before the Biden’s left, that seems to be a pretty good answer.
Except…
…according to the White House press pool, the Bidens, in fact, were in the White House on Friday. Byron York, in particular, says they were there until the early evening.
Not even a nice try, Karine.
I award Karine Jean-Pierre Quote Of The Day “honors” for lying to our faces again – something she does regularly – and apparently assuming that the entire press pool will go along with her lie (which, at least this time, did not happen; it was too blatant even for this largely-compromised bunch).
Until there was Jean-Pierre, I assumed no Press Secretary could be less credible than her predecessor, Jennifer Psaki. I must now acknowledge how wrong I was.
One other thing: with security cameras everywhere in that part of the White House, running 24 hours a day, there is absolutely, unequivocally no doubt that they know when that cocaine found its way to where it was found. It is 100% certain they know when it was not there, when it got there, and who was there to put it there.
